I'm watching too much TV.
Random advise:
Watch Reba on the CW, Sundays, 7:00 (I always forget).
Random thought:
If you liked That 70's Show, because it made you laugh so hard, and so long and so repeatedly in about all of its episodes, you will love Reba.
Extended Random thought:
Reba is a totally different show. That 70's show was about a group of friends. Reba is about a disfunctional family. But what makes the two shows compare is in their distinctive characters. Lets make a character list/table:
That 70's Show - trait - Reba
Hyde - cinycal - Kyra
Kelso - stupid - Van
Jacky - clueless - Barbra Jean
Donna - strong - Reba
Well, that doesn't really clarify much, but you have to see for yourself. You will fall in love with the characters in Reba the very first time you see them, even if you dont know anything about them, just as it may have happened to you (to me) with That 70's Show. They are all weird but credible characters, and the jokes are hillarious. But just like Fez, Kelso, and Red (Eric's father), stood out in That 70's Show, in Reba, three characters stand out: Van, Barbra Jean, and of course Reba. They have the best lines. Van and Barbra Jean have this ability of body/physical-comedy that Jim Carey has, that they make you laugh just by moving their faces, and their clueless minds go along with it. While Reba is the "reason", the thoughtful mind of the show, but sometimes, that "reason" breaks and that's the funny part. I can't really explain it... So watch it, and then tell me.
Después me cuentan.
